                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VINE STREET MORE PARTICULARLY
                   DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM 7:30 P.M. ON FRIDAY,
                   APRIL 3, 1992 TO 1:00 A.M. ON SATURDAY,
                   APRIL 4, 1992 FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THE
                   "END OF THE YEAR STREET PARTY" UNDER THE
                   SPONSORSHIP OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE
                   AT CHATTANOOGA.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Vine Street between Lansing Street and
       Palmetto Street from 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 1992 to 1:00
       a.m. on Saturday, April 4, 1992 for the presentation of the "End
       of the Year Street Party" under the sponsorship of the University 

       of Tennessee at Chattanooga provided that the sponsors shall set
       out and pick up all flasher barricades, road closed and detour
       signs in accordance with the traffic control plan attached hereto 

       and shall provide, at all times, an access lane for emergency
       vehicles.
